 After the success of podcasts that work for audio blogging, which I mentioned to you in my previous Podcast blog post (I recommend you take a look), publishers have started to include videos in their podcasting.Vidcasts or vodcasts gaining momentum in the 21st century are a tool that has been around since 2003.Again, like podcasts, vodcasts can be used for educational as well as entertainment purposes. In fact, if you ask me, thanks to the visual elements in it, they both attract more attention and are more successful in teaching than podcasts.

 Podcast can be defined as audio blogging. Podcast is a combination of the words broadcast and pod. They are audio recordings made on topics chosen by the people who produce the content in episodes using some equipment. Podcasts are generally used for entertainment purposes, but it would not be wrong to say that education can be done through podcasts nowadays.It is also possible that the lessons are shared by the teacher with the podcasting method and the students are taking lessons by following these podcasts, and it is a method that is currently used.

 Second Life allows users to live in a pre-prepared virtual world without the limitations of time and space as much as where their imaginations limit them. It can also be defined as experiencing real life in a virtual environment. Whatever you have in this life or wherever you can go, it is possible to do it all in Second life. Second Life's use for education is also a brilliant idea thanks to this very realistic virtual world. Both the excitement of being in the game and the excitement of doing something new motivates the student. In virtual classrooms, it is possible to conduct lectures and be in dialogue with your real-life students. However, there is one point we have to say, which is that Second Life is a very expensive tool.

 Augmented reality is the integration of visual and audio content with the user's environment in real time. For example, when you point your phone's camera at a point in your own room, you can see an image or object that is not actually there on your phone's screen. Considering that we integrate this into education, it is very advantageous in terms of motivation and entertainment of students.

 Virtual reality is the whole of the digital and physical elements that make our 5 sense organs feel as if we are really in a virtual world. The most widely used tools of this technology are virtual reality glasses. With virtual reality glasses, you can look wherever you want in a 3D designed world and walk around as you wish. Moreover, the number of sensory organs addressed can be increased with some additional technologies such as scent masks.It is also very advantageous to integrate VR into education.  Busuu is a paid language learning app. It is also possible for you to work for a period of time for free after signing up for the application, but most of its features are available after paying the fee. Words are presented to you throughout the application, there are many activities such as filling in the gap, matching listening activities, etc. Later on, it can also improve you in pronunciation as it can detect sounds. Many language options are available, you can learn more than one language at the same time. Moreover, within the app you can meet many people and check their pronunciation, tell them the correct usage and vice versa. The app is relatively more affordable than many paid language apps.

 Kahoot is a test that is solved by following the questions and answers that the teacher reflects on the board using a smart board in schools, and choosing the color chosen for each item from their own computer or phone. The teacher prepares the questions and shows them to the students by sharing the screen via the smart board or zoom application. Then 4 options appear on the board and each option has a color. Students mark the answer to the question they find correct on the board from the device in their hands. Those who mark the fastest and most accurately get a higher score and a ranking is created. At the end of the test, the name of the student in the first 3 places appears on everyone's phone and on the board. In order to participate in the test prepared by the teacher, it is sufficient for the student to write the code reflected on the board on his own device.

 Socrative is a tool where you can create tests on the internet and give students instant feedback by having them solve the questions with their smartphones or tablets. It allows students to solve the test you give synchronously using the phone, etc., and at the same time, you can follow the progress of your students in the progressing boxes on the screen.  Seesaw is a digital portfolio creation tool. Students can create their electronic portfolios by adding photos, videos, drawings, texts and links. It is possible to join the Seesaw tool as a teacher, student or parent. The fact that parents can also access this platform is very useful in terms of following the students. After joining as a teacher, a student can be invited to the class with a class code or a Qr code. It is also possible to add other teachers to the class using the manage teachers option. The teacher can view the work uploaded by the students and make audio or written comments. Seesaw ensures that all work is organized on a single platform.
